There never was a rule for FIrefox in the Fort firewall app.Yes, "entertainment mode" would be -> no alerts when something is running full screen.Outpost Firewall Pro implementation, as an example, is quite straightforward regarding this. Went to the Application groups where i ve created a group called Browsers. In there, in the right panel (where the Allowed ones are) i have manually added, via copy paste, the path to the FIrefox executable. An app error was shown that said that Firefox already exists and the firewall crashed. At restart of the app same error was shown, but the Firefox path was still there in the Allowed section of the Browser group, where I ve add-ed it.įirefox works so what s with the error ? As there was no rule for Firefox in the app, could it be a conflict with other firewall rules ? So after the installation I ve enabled the internet.I ve started the sandboxed Firefox browser and of course it could not connect, as there was no rule in the Fort app for applications. There is a rule in Tinywall though, for Firefox. So it runs along TinyWall 3.0.4 official.Windows Firewall service is turned off in Services, for the 6 version it seems it can be done. It is installed on the same machine (specified in the previous post), from which Kaspersky Free was removed.
